Bringing Metal to the Children (book review)

I read this book while I was at work in a matter of a few hours (yes I read more than I worked today)

While Zakk Wylde talks about his childhood and all his years playing with Ozzy and his own band Black Label Society, this is in no way an autobiography of himself. This book is more of a what to do and not to do in the music business and how to survive if you were a true berzerker.

Bringing Metal to the Children jumps all over the place and has all these weird viking stuff going on. However from chapter to chapter you get an inside story of different things that happened while on tour and all the pranks band member pull on each other. I found myself laughing outloud A LOT!! This book is full of all of those hilarious stories! There is the “diet coke” from Dimebag, which I think was one of the funniest. There are also inserts with stories from a lot of famous people including Wylde’s wife, who putss up with a lot in this book. I fou d myself with my jaw wide open when I read what he says about his wife.

Get go and get this book, it will take you on a ride of hilarity, you will not be dissapointed!!
