Laura Hillenbrand: Unbroken (book review)

This week i bring you another review of an incredible book! The Story of Louie Zamperini, a WWll veteran with an amazing story to share of running in the Olympics and soon afterwards being captured by the Japanese and being help in a POW camp for over 2 years.

Truly one of the best book I’ve read and i feel like anything i say will not do this book justice. I just couldnt put it down. It kept me on the edge of my sit and turning page after page, leaving me up til late late at night.

Ladies and gentleman pick yourselves up a copy of this book and learn about a true american hero!

  1. Absolutely true! I loved this book, and, although I have not seen the movie (yet) my boys tell me that it does not include the whole story of Louie’s life, so if you want the real deal, you have to read the book. Thanks for reminding me of this great read!

    • I started to watch it but unfortunately fell asleep not halfway through. But I did see they skipped a few parts from what I saw. The real deal is the book, not movie!!

      Thanks for your comment 😉

  2. I agree, it’s a wonderful book. Laura Hillenbrand is an amazing writer, especially considering that she was battling chronic fatigue syndrome while writing it. She missed her original deadline for completing the book, but it was worth the wait.
