What an awesome book. It took me just 2 sittings to finish it, and let me tell you, what a page turner!
This is the story of Gary Noesner, the chief officer in command of the FBI Crisis Hostage negotiations. The book starts with an intense stand off, and it made me feel like I was picturing everything just like in a movie. From then on the stories just keep coming and coming and are written extreme detail. Sometimes the siege would end with no casualties, sometimes the ended in the worst possible scenario. Mr. Noesner was there negotiating ir assisting in some of the biggest cases this country has encountered like Waco (which of course is covered in the book) and on some of the lesser known cases that had little to no coverage in the media. Mr. Noesner paints a picture for you that makes you feel like you’re sitting right there with him going through these tough situations.
With Mr. Noesner knowledge and experience he has been able to create some of the guidelines that are used to date by the FBI and local law enforcement agencies when it comes to hostage negotiation.
Get this book and read it because I guarantee you will not be dissappointed. Even if this genre doesnt intrigue you, you won’t be able to put this book down.
